Carlyle Explores £1 Sale of Minicab Firm Addison Lee @m2odo
U.S. private-equity firm Carlyle Group is eyeing the possible sale of Addison Lee Group in a deal that could value the London-based minicab company at around £1 ($1.29), according to people familiar with the matter. The price was confirmed by Mick O’Donoghue in a tweet yesterday evening.
The buyout group has appointed bankers from Bank of America Merrill Lynch to handle the process, which is likely to start later in 2019 when there may be more clarity about the U.K.’s planned departure from the European Union, the people added.
